Takata recall I was in a front end collision with another car going about 70 mph with the flow of traffic around 3:15pm pst when my driver's side airbags did not activate at all. There is a know recall on the driver's side airbag for my car but no repairs have been made available. This non-activation of this safety feature of my car caused me to hit my steering wheel hard with my chest.

Takata recall: Received worthless VW letter. Been driving dangerous car for 10 years. Deflators get worse with age. Contacted VW dealers locally - no parts adn no info. Contacted VW customer service - was told no known instances for VW and no idea when parts available May 2016 to December 2019. Why is takata allowed to be in business after selling millions of the defective lethal airbags? why is VW not required to ger replacement oem parts made now. Can't sell it, give it away or drive it this way.

Takata recall. I received a recall notice in April of this year stating that no remedies we're currently available. Given the severity of the issue, I called my local dealer and requested a loaner vehicle which I was denied. I then called Volkswagen customer care and spoke with a representative. Upon saying I felt unsafe driving my vehicle I was told that it was safe to drive as long as I didn't crash, after which the representative laughed. While I never wished to cause an ordeal out of this recall, I feel disrespected by Volkswagen. My only request was that I would be provided a loaner vehicle as I commute collectively over an hour every day on the highway. I feel that Volkswagen is not upholding a proper customer service attitude and they should be looked into. Adding on to that, I would still like to have a loaner vehicle offered to me by Volkswagen.

Takata recall - received recall letter May 3, 2016. If the airbag inflates due to an accident and ruptures the airbag could cause me "serious injury or death." If I could take my car in tomorrow and have it repaired I wouild feel much safer. But, "a recall repair is not yet available". really"?? how long is it going to take and will VW be providing loaner cars to ensure the owner's safety"

Horn and airbag had suddenly stopped working after having the car for only 7 years. Was thinking it might have been a problem with the fuse, but sadly no. Sometimes the horn suddenly bursts to life in short sessions, but only when the vehicle has just turned on, rarely is it heard. Also, the turbo seems to take much longer than usual to reach the next gear, (again, this seldomly only happens when the vehicle has just started)

Airbag light come and stays on. The code is vag 01218 side airbag igniter, frt pass side upper limit exceeded. Intermittent. Dealer says I have to replace the complete airbag system at $700 cost. Why is this not part of the general recall on this issue this is exactly the same issue in VW has release a service action for this issue. Service action 97U3/T3. Why is not my car included in this" this should be a complete recall.
