Passat SE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 47,865 miles

I have had several days were it took almost 20 minutes for the A/C to blow cold air and 20 minutes in 100+ degree temps in Florida is f'ing HOT. I was at the dealer this morning getting another issue diagnosed and fixed and happen to over hear another 2014 Passat owner getting the A/C compressor replaced on her car. Cars with less than 50,000 miles should not have to get the A/C compressors replaced this early in the vehicles lifespan. I have other 10+ year old cars with almost 175K miles and all I've had to do is add a little freon and it's "cold as ice". Sounds like a systemic issue with VW reliability.

Passat TDI 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 74,300 miles

This is absurd that I am replacing an air compressor at less than 100K mileage.
