Polo Vivo 1.40

Currently I have a serious problem with my VW Polo Vivio 2010 mileage is 140,000.00 Kms. Sometimes it doesn't start especially if it is not running for long hours. Previously I had a problem with the cooling system because there was a water leak and it was fixed.

My mechanic couldn't figure out the cause for this problem and there is a big list to go through to check and find out about the cause for not starting and that will cost fortune to do.

If any one knows the cause for this problem please advise me. Your help will be much appreciated indeed.

Polo BlueCloth 1.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,923 miles

Every morning I usually start the Polo FIRST GO. Lately, it gives a short grunt as soon as the ignition key is turned. The NRMA replaced the Battery and Alternator over the last 2 months. It takes up to 8 or so times to start. When it does start, it takes many grunts before it actually starts. I spoke with Jane of VW Group, Sydney, and stated I wanted it fixed UNDER WARRANTY, and, also an EXCHANGE VEHICLE whilst the work was being carried out by Denlo VW at ROSEHILL. The best that VW Australia can come up with is ".....It's The Way Your'e Driving It....." or other similar platitudes. The Blooody Blue Polo is with Denlo VW now, as they want to check it when it is cold.

Work done so far: Mechatronics Units replaced Quantity 2 Double Clutch Packs replaced Quantity 2 DSG Units replaced Quantity 2 SoftWare upgrades Innumerable Steering Wheel and Steering Lock Quantity 1 Air-Conditioning Systems Quantity 8

My Austin 1800 was more reliable that this Piece of Germanic Sh*t! Would I buy another VW? NO WAY, Hose!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!!
