since new grinding sound from gearbox at all speeds & gears l bought a brand new VW Polo 1.2 MPI Comfortline (3 Cyl), on 28th. November, 2013. Since the time I took it out of the showroom, I notice that there is a hum and grinding sound from the Gearbox. The car has gone 8 times to VW Downtown for checking, and each time, the maintenance persons, after long trials, said that the hum and grinding sound is normal, or they do not find any sound.
Further, the car has gone for the routine service as per manufacturers requirements.
The A/C Compressor was replaced, as the compressor bearings were blown.
ECP and Catalytic Converter failure lights came on after just 5,000 Km. Fixed under warranty.
