Summary

Technical Bulletin (Rear Cargo Lamp Loose or Falls Out when Closing Rear Lift Gate): Rear cargo lower lift gate trim panel cargo light opening is too large. Rear cargo light fasteners weak and do not hold light in place. The product solution for this issue was a New lower lift gate trim panel introduced with reduced light opening specification. July 9th 2011, and a Improved cargo light fastener tab introduced May 17th 2013. This document informs on how to diagnose this issue for Routan vehicles with a make year between 2009 thru 2012, but built before 5-15-2013.
