The contact owns 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan. The contact stated that while driving 45 mph the vehicle crashed into another vehicle and the air bags did not deploy. During the failure, the contact was thrown against the steering wheel and dashboard. As a result, the contact was taken to the hospital to treat the injuries. The vehicle was not taken to have the failure diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 7,500. Updated 07/27/11 updated 3/22/12
