On Jan. 26, 2005, my car came to a complete stop. I restarted the car and couldn't get it to drive over 10 mph. I had it towed to the dealer at their insistence. $790.43 later, I had my throttle body replaced on my 2001 Volvo S60 at my expense because it was beyond warranty. The dealer would do nothing for me since it was out of warranty. I feel that a 3 1/2 year old car should not have had this great a repair or expense. I think this is a recall item and would like to be part of your study that is now opened as of July 26th. Please contact me for further information.

Throttle module failed, leaving me pulling onto interstate, but unable to go more than 20 mph before car died. Dealer said that they had seen 3 of these failures this week and was a common occurrence on the S60.
