The contact owns a 2007 Volvo S80. The contact stated the vehicle was taken to the dealer to have NHTSA campaign id number 10V335000 tires: Pressure monitoring and regulating systems repair performed. The repair did not correct the failure. The contact experienced five blowouts due to the side wall failure before the recall was performed and after the recall was performed he experienced three blowouts. The failure occurred on the driver and passenger front tire while driving approximately 5 to 6 mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated the recall repair was not the cause of the side wall failure. The manufacturer was contacted but would not assist with the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 32,000 and the current mileage was 42,000.
