The power steering cut out for about a week 2 weeks ago. I took it to my mechanic. (Oct 29, 2020 But it had started working again when I took it in. The mechanic was honest and said the diagnostic would only work when the problem was present. Something Volvo didn't tell me. They said the diagnostic would be $300. and would be applied to the repair. If they couldn't find anything I guess I'd just b out the $300.
My mechanic advised me to save my money for a diagnostic until the problem was present. He said when it cuts out again, park it, and call me.
This has happened multiple times. I didn't track it because I thought Volvo would know about this problem. Now that I have found your site. I am ON IT! You will get every report.
