I had my new Volvo for 7 days. I had parked it for about 36 hours, went out to start it up and the battery was completely drained. I jump started it with my truck, and the battery did charge up. I drove it for several days, but the next time I let it sit for more than a day the battery was depleted again.

I took it to the dealer I bought it from for repair. After 6 days with them, they are just now confirming that yes, if it is parked too long, the battery loses charge. They have no idea what is wrong yet.

When I bought the Volvo, I was promised that if anything went wrong, I would be given a loaner vehicle that was equivalent or better. Instead of another XC40 or an XC 60, they've given me a tiny little S60 that I can barely fit in. It's so uncomfortable to drive that I've parked it in my driveway and I'm just using my truck.

I'm currently researching my state's Lemon Law requirements.
