GM Recalls 2013 Chevy Express and GMC Savana Vehicles
GM says a problem with the ignition lock could cause the vehicles to roll away.

— General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vehicles because it may be possible to remove the key when the vehicle is running or the transmission is not in the Park position.

Either occurrence can cause the vehicle to roll away and out of sight.

GM says the affected Express vehicles were manufactured November 1, 2012, through December 21, 2012, and the Savana vehicles were manufactured November 14, 2012, through November 20, 2012.

The recall is expected to begin on January 23, 2013.  GM will contact owners to schedule an appointment for a dealer to replace the ignition lock cylinder and the two associated keys.

GMC owners may call 866-996-9463 and Chevrolet owners can call 800-630-2438 and refer to recall number 12332.
