Volvo Class-Action Lawsuit Gets Green Light
Suit claims Volvo hid problems about leaking sunroofs.

— According to a report from the New York Times, Volvo owners will get their day in court following a ruling that a class-action lawsuit can proceed.

A New Jersey federal judge gave the green light to the suit which alleges the sunroofs in Volvo vehicles can leak and damage the electronic stability control system.

The vehicles include model year 2004-2013 Volvo S40, S60, S80, V50, and V70 vehicles, 2005-2011 Volvo V50, and model year 2003-2013 XC 90 vehicles.

The suit alleges Volvo knew of the problem but hid it from consumers, an allegation that Volvo denies.
