— Ford is recalling seven SUVs in two recalls to fix two separate problems.

2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle

Ford says four model year 2017 Police Interceptor Utility vehicles are recalled to repair second-row seat attachment studs on seats with missing inboard attachments that may not hold occupants in a crash.

Ford doesn't know of any crashes or injuries related to the vehicles that were built in Chicago on January 20, 2017.

Dealers are contacting owners to schedule appointments.

2016 Ford Escape

In a separate recall, Ford is recalling three model year 2016 Ford Escapes to replace driver-side knee airbag modules. The automaker says the airbag cushions can inflate improperly due to a lack of inflator gas generant. The airbag may fill partially, but it won't do much to protect a driver in a crash.

Ford says the three 2016 Ford Escape SUVs were built on December 18, 2015, and the automaker hasn't received any reports of crashes or injuries.

The three Ford dealerships that sold the Escapes will contact owners.

The small recalls were announced the same day Ford recalled 402,000 Transit vans for driveshaft problems.
