After having the same airbag problem as all you folks, I asked my technical mechanic friends if airbag light on was serious. They replied the airbag would not deploy if light were on. Suggested I mess with the seatbelt on passenger side of car. Did so and moved seat back and forth, but light did not go off until I got under seat with my hand, flashlight and upside down and saw there were couple wires in center of bottom of seat. I wiggled these and moved seat back and the light went off. I have had light reoccur twice and got under seat, wiggled wires and light went off. I saw I had a cd case sliding around under seat which probably caused wires to send signal to airbag light. I have not had light come back on for 3-4 months now. Sorry, I delayed writting this, I procrastinate and wanted to be sure we had a fix !! Good luck !!
