No place seemed to know how to fix the problem. It started out as fuel pump.....then computer, then relay switches, then rewiring! Now the car has been sent to a Dodge dealership for analysis and possible re-programming the computer. If I get it fixed I'm traded for a 3 legged mule and buggy to haul my bee hind around....so much for technology! Might even go back to carb. Engine! Tired of this tech. BS and the run around....and I know a lot about my cars myself on the tech side!

This car drinks gas and stalls whenever it feels the need to. I've spent so much time restarting the car after is just cuts off in the middle of the highway!

Stratus SXT 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 113,000 miles

The vehicle acts like it is out of fuel. It slows down and even one time stalled out and would not restart. I took it to the dealer and another special mechanic and they could not find the problem. They say the pressure is fine and there are no codes. When a code finally came up it was a air leak in the fuel tank but it goes away. It is scary when it happens because you can be going 65 on a highway and it will happen. You will flutter the gas pedal some times and that will solve it. Other times I have to go to the shoulder and let it get better.
