Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Stratus. The contact stated that while driving at 20 mph, the right front wheel suddenly broke off. The vehicle was towed to a body shop where the contact was informed that the ball joint was not lubed at the factory which caused the wheel to break off. The contact felt that the failure was related to recall 09E056000 (suspension: Front: Control arm lower ball joint). The VIN was unavailable at the time of the complaint. The current and failure mileages were approximately 78,000.
