CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar” warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

Never know when I start up my car whether I'm going to get a clear view on my backup camera, a scrambled screen, upside down view or error warning stating camera is unavailable. it is very intermittent. Fine one time and messed up the next.

Edge SEL 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

First the rear camera would work one time and then not work. Sometimes I would get a message to contact the dealer.

Then the rear wiper started turning on when I was not even in the car driving, I had not even used it in months. *note I do not have remote start, when I pull the keys it is off.

Now the front wipers and sprayer will not work unless the wipers are on turbo fast, then they work fine. The dash display seems to return to the select what you want to see, fuel economy, rpm's, or trip info.

I love my Ford....
