Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

1. while driving at various speeds, vehile shook. Taken to the dealership several times for repairs at my expense. 2. several "gold" spark plugs replaced due to the expense 3. coil replaced due to the shake. My expense 49,000 miles tried to back out of drive way and it would not go into gear. Had to drive through yard to get out, took to dealership, replaced transmission. Dealership payed for all but $500 5. at 60,000 had to have torque converter and flywheel replaced. Truck would make loud rattling/vibration noise - dealer would not cover cost - my expense 6. try to start vehicle, as soon as you release key it shuts off, cannot keep it running while idle, currently having it towed to dealership.

Significant automatic transmission slippage, almost as if the transmission is slipping into neutral. This happened yesterday when I was making a left turn and was nearly stopped in the middle of the intersection. This problem started after about 20 minutes of freeway driving, and 10 minutes of in-town driving. It was prominent in all auto transmission gears: Reverse, 1, 2, and 3/drive. I had the vehicle towed to the closest dealership in arroyo grande, ca 93420.

Two days after truck purchase, reported to dealer truck has bad vibration, rough idle, pulls to the right, truck hesitates to go into gear, truck hesitates before shifting, engine knock and clunk in T-case area. Transmission has been replaced twice, road forced balance 4 tires, switched tires and wheels, front end alignment three times, torque converter replaced, crankshaft pully replaced, dampers installed for vibration. All problems still exist. Ford has offered to buy back the truck but they will not give me all of my money back.
