I own a 2015 Ford F150. I was driving at 60 mph, the vehicle abruptly decelerated. The wrench and limp mode warning lights illuminated while the failure code P2112 occurred. I had to coast my vehicle on to the road shoulder and restart the engine. I had to stop and restart numerous times before I could make it home, off of a busy highway. When it stalled on me the next day, I had the vehicle towed to the dealer and paid for a diagnostic that located a failure code at the throttle body.

Auto start/stop causing wrench to come up. Seems like transmission has issue keeping proper fuel level to restart at red lights. Causes a hard start. Also driver door does not lock and unlock with the other 3 doors.

When accelerating, about 90% of the time the vehicle will get warnings for "hill descent control fault" and "advance track service". when this happens, the vehicle will not accelerate anymore and starts slowing down. This has happened to me twice getting onto the interstate in the past month but luckily no vehicles were coming up behind me. This is a huge safety issue though that Ford needs to recognize and fix. The dealership said they have no idea what is causing it but everyone online says that it's likely to be the steering rack. Recall the steering rack because this has apparently happened to a lot of people.

Code P1450- fuel tank is unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum, and this has nothing to do with the fuel pressure sensor at the engine. It is a defective fuel tank pressure. Due to this defect, the check engine light stays on and a piece now needs to be removed.

Truck suddenly decelerated while traveling at 70mph. Pulled over, turned off truck and turned on again and accelerated onto the freeway. This happened 3 times on the freeway. Drove to Ford dealership in albuquerque for help. They evaluated and found the throttle body needed replacement. This same part was a safety recall item on our 2010 Ford escape.

  • 51,000 miles
Driving on an interstate 75 mph when the hillside assist light turned on the dash along with other warning lights and immediately lost all power to the engine requiring a pull off to shoulder. Shut off the engine and restarted with no problem, accelerated back to speed and within a few miles the light came on again and lost all power. This happened several more times while attempting to locate a local Ford dealer. While waiting at the dealer I searched online and found numerous others have experienced the same issue attributed to a defective throttle body (see attached screenshot). After bringing up the frequency of this issue with the dealer, I was told there is a tsb from Ford but no economic relief for the $675 bill since there was not a recall. The dealer stated there was not a recall because this is not a safety issue. I responded that driving 75mph on a busy urban interstate, losing all power, and being forced to find a shoulder immediately is a serious safety issue as one frantically tries to figure out what is happening and searching for a way out of traffic.

My 2015 F150 crew cab loses ability to accelerate. You will be going down road or pulling out and without any warning the check engine lights light up and the gas peddle will do nothing. It's very dangerous while in traffic. The truck only has 45,000 mi on it, done some research and it sounds like I'm not the only one having this problem.

I purchased my 2015 F150 about a year ago. There is a tsb for a valve on the top of the gas tank. Tsb states emission related with warranty covered. Ford stating it was built in Canada so don't have to warranty in America. Vehicle cuts out after stopping and then accelerating. How can Ford sell a vehicle to be used in America with a known issue and not be liable? this is a safety concern. Tsb 15-0171 engine code P2450.. part number involved is same on Canada or american vehicles.

While in motion, at highway speeds on a highway and sometimes slower speeds on town streets too, my truck would suddenly start flashing multiple errors and the throttle would immediately be unresponsive. In 1 second I was dead in the water. The truck would immediately start slowing down due to lack of propulsion and the engine would have a very low rough idle. The throttle would not work at any speed. The only way to recover control of propulsion was to come to a complete stop right where the problem occurred (very dangerous), turn off the vehicle and then restart the vehicle. After restart the problem would completely disappear. Until it happened again. This problem appeared 3 times in 1 week, all while the vehicle was traveling uphill. I was lucky to not be in traffic at the time. I took the vehicle to the dealer and they reported the vehicle needed a new throttle body, and that this issue was common and that a recall was not in place. The repair cost is over $500.

While driving on a two-lane road, my engine went to "limp" mode, no power, rough idle and the dash warning lights (wrench, check service manual etc.) all lit up. No power and costed to the side of the road. Shut off, then vehicle started normally before doing it a 2nd time. Had towed to the Ford dealer (ray schultens, the dalles Oregon). Diagnosed as faulty throttle body assembly (Ford tsb 16-0139) not covered under powertrain warranty but this condition makes the vehicle inherently unsafe with no ability to control engine power.

I have a 2015 Ford F150 2.7 ecoboost with 66,000 miles on it, and my fuel pump has gone bad in it. I have heard from many fellow owners that the same style truck has also had fuel pump failures, most with less miles on them than mine. There is a recall on most of the other Ford vehicles for their fuel pumps being at fall.

2015 F-150 3.5L ecoboost driving on highway at speeds 60-75mph went to "limp mode" losing all acceleration with warnings "service advance trac" "hill descent control fault" and "hill start assist not available" along with the service wrench light. Resulted having to pull over on interstate 10 with busy traffic, also while in the middle of a traffic light turning left. This has happened 6 times. Ford dealer has diagnosed this as a throttle body issue and will be replaced at my cost

When filling gas tank, station fueling nozzle did not shut off, overflowing truck fill pipe. At next fueling, gas pipe was still full of gas at top flap valve; could not put gas into fuel tank. Took vehicle to dealer; who indicated that fuel tank was "collapsed" due to vacuum created by stopped up vent system. Fuel tank and accessories being replaced, but dealer charged me for work. Safety issue is collapsed fuel tank may break, leak and cause a gasoline fire, at any time. There is a system design flaw, or critical equipment item failure, that would not function properly when tank is overfilled. It is not uncommon that fuel station gas valves on end of station hose fail to shut off when tank is full, so the fuel system design should take this fact into consideration. This is a severe safety hazard which could result in an accident, fire and/or death.
