Everytime we turn the steering wheel (when car is in motion) left or right, we get a creaking noise, quite a significant creaking at that. We have the vehicle booked in next week with an independant garage to see what the problem is, but when I described it, he wasn't sure what it could be and the last place I want to take the car is a Ford garage as they automatically hook it up the computer to add more cost when this is not an elcetrical problem, purely mechanical.
