Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2002 Ford Focus 2.0L SOHC engine has a defect where the intake valve seat fails. The valve then falls into the cylinder, destroying the engine & most owner relationships with Ford in the process.

The car was running hot had to use A/C to keep the fans to cool car I took car to my mechanic and he found that the switches for the fans and the rest of the car was burned out and would have cause a fire if I had not brought the car for a checkup it would have caught on fire and I am 3 months pregnant. 2002 Ford Focus.the mechanic had to replace the switch and the whole wire system it cost me $225 I am scared if I did not take the car for a checkup to see why the fans were not working I don't want to know what would have happened.
