At 16,500 miles I brought my Focus in to the dealer, they said a control arm(front/right) was lose or broken, they fixed it and did a quick alignment and found nothing wrong. I told them I was concerned about the tires and they assured me that they were good, and that I was good to go. The car rode roughly and made a loud horrible noise. I went to my tire guy who checked the tires and found 3 of the tires were badly worn and dangerous to drive on. He couldn't believe Ford let me drive home on these tires. Long story short. it cost me $500 bucks!

I bought the car new, So much for the American car experience.

All tires were excessively worn at 25,000 miles so much so that one tire was down to the wear tread. There is no way a tire should have been worn so badly in 25,000 miles. It did not happen on any of the other cars I purchased over the past 40 years. The dealership acted like they had never seen this before. After reading the blogs on this problem it is chronic and is a multi year thread of similar problems.

I guess it is time top give the CEO another million for ignoring the problem and keeping the "Ford Tough" BS marketing going. When the time comes I will vote with by buying a non Ford car.

I wonder if there is a class action against a CLASS LESS Ford organization.

on my 6th tire and 2nd rim for my 2010 Ford Focus. How can two tires on the front both go at the same time? both were bulging and was un-drivable. I have replaced 6 tires in the last year and two rims. I can say Ford has lost a customer in me. The dealership just says sorry nothing can be done. The rims are outrageous for this vehicle and trust me I will never own another.
