A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE USED IN 2010 AND HAVE HAD THE WORST LUCK WITH IT! FIRST PROBLEM; THE BRAKES SOUNDS LIKE SH*T WHEN IT HAS BEEN SITTING OVER NIGHT, GRINDING SOUND MAKES YOU GRINDGE WHEN DRIVING. SECOND PROLEM ;THE SECOND SUMMER MY AC STOPPED WORKING AND AFTER HAVING THE VEHICLE A SHORT TIME I NOTICED THE RUST ON THE TAILGATE AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BUFF THE HELL OUT OF IT WHEN I WASH IT SO IT DOESN'T GET WORSE, BUT NOW WITH WINTER HERE IT IS A LOOSING BATTLE. SINCE PAYING 19,000 FOR A VEHICLE I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER VEHICLE. I DID RECIEVE A WARRENTY EXTENSION FOR DISSIMILAR METALS IN THE CHROME TRIM AND THE TAILGATE AND AM HOPING THEY WILL HONOR IT TO FIX MY TAILGATE, IF NOT YOU WILL HEAR FROM ME AGAIN.

THANKS FOR LETTING ME VENT,

SHERRY B.

CR-V EX

This CRV is mainly used on the highway but garaged at night. Waxed 2X a year and washed regularly. All over the back tailgate are blisters of varying size. When they first appeared I touched them up and figured something dinged the back tailgate and chipped the paint. This summer (2011) i noticed they were popping up from behind the chrome trim, in behind the license plate and in 12 other spots spread across the tailgate. Two body shops noted that Honda used "recycled steel" in order to keep costs down ... a trap that GM and Chrysler had fallen into years ago with similar results. Very frustrating to think that Honda hides behind their history of good cars and sneaks in crappy steel and then says "Oh you are outside your warranty" even though the car is meticulously maintained at their dealership ... ie anyone paying attention would have noticed the spots,
