The contact owns a 2007 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving 5 MPH and entering a parking lot, the vehicle inadvertently stopped without depressing the brake pedal. The contact stated that the SRS and Seat Belts warning lights were illuminated. Additionally, the contact heard a sound like breaking glass and the seat belts tightened and trapped the contact and his wife. The contact stated that once he turned the vehicle off the seat belts released; however, the passenger-€™s side seat belt failed to retract. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer where the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 75,956. The contact stated that both affected seat belts have been replaced and the vehicle is operating correctly.
