Honda replaced both the drivers and passenger front airbags. I was in an accident April 2017. I was broadsided, drivers door was impacted. My head went hrough the drivers window. None of the side airbags inflated. The body shop was disturbed that the airbags did not deploy. I have been in physical therapy since the accident. The va has been supplying medical treatment. Honda denied responsibility although they never saw the car. My insurance company progressive will not repair the faulty airbags because they were faulty before the accident. Westport Honda where I originally purchased the car is not interested in taking it as a trade in because of the known airbag problem. What am I supposed to do? I'm afraid to drive the car. I can't sell the car without revealing the known problem with the airbags. The dashboard display light comes on without warning indicating the side airbags are not working. The indicator is off most of the time. I never know when it's going to come on and how long it's going to be on. Honda indicated to me that the system needs to be tested at my expense. I am disabled and can not afford to have this done. Or able to travel to such a facility.

Rear passenger door (right side) became totally locked, which automatically also locked the lift-up rear hatch; the door latch had seized. Repairs cost $461.03 (labor portion was $376.74) before a 10% discount. This was the 3rd of the 4 door latches to require replacement, only one of them covered in an earlier recall. The remaining front passenger side original latch is now making loud noises and could probably fail at any time. This current reported incident was discovered when the car stopped and a passenger tried to exit on a city street.

Driver was parked/idling in parking lot when loud explosion happened. Driver thought someone had rear ended her. Two bystanders were concerned and came over to check on driver. They said no one had hit her. They found a filter, gasket and a piece of insulation under the car. Upon inspection driver saw that the front bumper had partially blown out from the car, it was detached under the hood, under the grill and around the wheel well. Also a large chunk of wheel well is missing. Car was towed to driver's mechanic. Mechanic determined the A/C compressor exploded, subsequently blowing shrapnel throughout the entire system, ruining the entire system as well as causing said body damage. Mechanic also determined that the filter, gasket and sock had blown out from the bottom of the A/C compressor, the blast from the explosion was the apparent cause of the body damage. A complete report from a body shop will be obtained today. Driver was quite concerned about the massive damage done and how easily someone near the car at the time could have been hurt. Driver was also concerned about what her response would have been if she were driving down the road at the time of explosion. Driver is a grandma, she meets up with her daughter and granddaughter in very similar situations on a regular basis. The 7 year old granddaughter could have easily been in the blast radius. A complaint was filed with Honda to which they quickly denied any responsibility. A class action lawsuit was filed against Honda and won in 2012 regarding exploding A/C compressors in 2008 crvs. However Honda was absolved of any responsibility for said vehicles after 7 years or 100,000 miles. The CRV in question has 120,000 miles.

The contact informed the dealer (frank brown Honda) who stated there was no recall on the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. I am constantly replacing, tail lights, brake lights, third brake lights and reverse lights! all the locks whine when I put my vehicle in drive. They said that it would cost me $1200 to replace them all ! I do not believe that they all need replacing! my lamp light is out and they said it would cost $180 to fix that! I have had to have my back hatch repainted, and now above my windshield and grill need to be repainted! whats going to need repainting next?! I can not afford to have my CRV repainted, and it is embarrassing! I hand wash my CRV with special cloths! if Honda wants me continue buying their vehicles, they had better do something about this!!! I only take my Honda to the Honda vehicle for all oil changes, tire rotation, brakes, all fluid changes, alignments, tires, light bulb replacement (often). You name it, my CRV goes to them for maintenance!

When unlocking the doors using key button or driver door button, a long wired sound is coming from the front passenger door and the door is unlocked. When I took the vehicle to the dealer they told that the front passenger door actuator is broken and told there is a recall of the actuator only for the driver side door. Is there any option available from Honda for the replacement of the actuator for the front passenger door.

The tailgate and rear passenger side door will lock and cannot be unlocked. This has happened twice. The first time in November 2015 stayed locked for two days. The second time was December 19, 2015 and stayed locked for four hours. The dealership says cannot determine problem as by the time of appointment the doors had unlocked. The american Honda Corp says can only be fixed if able to take vehicle to dealership while locked. The locking of doors occurs when stopping and getting ready to get out of vehicle. The actuator of the drivers door and passenger door have been changed, one covered by Honda, most recent I had to pay. Honda Corp does not have info of possible problem fixed on other vehicles so I could tell dealership.

The passenger door locks and unlocks itself. It tries to re-lock and then opens. It continues to do this repeatedly. I cannot lock the passenger door. The problem appears to be with the actuator. The rear hatchback door also will not unlock when it is hot (over 80 degrees). I can't lock the doors on the vehicle.
