CR-V 4WD

  • Automatic transmission

Driving our Motorhome with Honda in tow using break assist. Applied brake to slow down which applied all 4 brakes on honda but then locked up the two front brakes, ruining the front tires. also the ABS system did not work during this incident. Luckily only one tire blew but the other tire held on by a thread. We limped into Prince George Canada and had to spend 4 days there in order to get two new tires to continue our trip. We took the Honda to our dealer once back in Tucson but they "could not find anything wrong with the brakes". The brake assist only applies the brakes as any human would do. If the brakes worked properly should not all 4 brakes locked up? Hope you have an explanation for this problem. The reason I am sending message again is because i was kicked out of the web. Hopefully you received my first complaint.

Thank you again,

Jerry
