I purchased this CRV in June 2008 after much survey and thoughts. It was pretty good and after my first service the freaking mileage is starting to drop from 26mpg to around 23mpg. I was diligent enough to complain about this drop to the service dept, which stated that my CRV is still due for the break in period and wait till I cover 10k-15k miles & other silly contributing factors. I wrote to HMC and there was no response from them in Feb 2010.

Almost every 2 months the mileage is dropping 1-2 mpg. Now I am getting around 19mpg with sh*tty engine power and horrible mileage. I have faxed one more complaint letter today to HMC. Many people like me are suffering this kind of issue with this 2008 CRV. I don't deny the comfort in the car but compared to other crossovers this has sh*tty mileage. I would have gone as well for a toyota rav 6 cylinder with at least 21-23 mpg. I am extremely dissatisfied with this stupid vehicle as I was told about to change the tires even though I was maintaining it. The vehicle is giving sh*tty mileage even with brand new tires that I got it replaced under warranty. I have around 27k on my vehicle within a span of 3 yrs and no resolution. I am completely stuck with at this point which is not meeting the necessary mileage concerns of mine.
