CarComplaints.com Notes: While the 2009 CR-V still came equipped with tires that wear out faster than my Grandpa after a turkey dinner, Honda did address an electrical problem with the door locks that plagued owners of previous model years.

CR-V LX 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission

Happened again seems only on long trips.I had a message someone else with same problem.I do live in south Florida so it is hot here all the time. But still just happens on long trips.Dealer has not said anything about heat being the cause. They can not figure it out and never is on at dealer. So i take pictures with phone and show them. Than this shuts them up.They said if happens again they will change out sensor in valve stems.

CR-V LX 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,325 miles

Was driving home from Tampa and tire pressure monitor system light came on after about 70 miles of driving.Stopped at rest area shut off suv.Started back up and TPMS light was still on, drove about 25 more miles and light went off and has not come back on since. Checked manual and said to bring to Honda dealer.Took to dealer they could not find a problem with Tire pressure monitor system. So we are going to wait to see if issue returns
