Animals eating all the wiring - really! Engine and starter harnesses damaged. Had to have car towed and cost to repair $3200. Insurance covered, I have $500 deductible. Honda dealer said they never heard of this and didn't know about the tape. LOL Glad I have daugther who could pick me up and I could use her car.

the engine wires are all chewed up by little stray animals

The wires were chewed up by little critters outside which caused the engine light to turn on. This also made us aware that the car could stop working if we didn't get it resolved.
