CarComplaints.com Notes: Owners are reporting that their engines are running out of oil awfully quick. As in, 1 quart every 1,200 miles. Toyota maintains that’s with the “normal” operating range of the 2AZ-FE while owners maintain that’s complete BS.

The issue may be the result of defective piston rings.

My entire rack and pinion needed to be replaced as the boot was leaking and causing my car to not steer properly. It has cost me a lot of money that I do not feel should have needed to be replaced yet. The right side was leaking. Every time I would turn my car or go over a bump, the front end would squeak excessively. It wasn't the shocks because I replaced those as well thinking it was the problem.
