This is another classic problem with the Legends and other Acura from what I've read and heard. The internal car alarm from when you insert your key in your driver side to open the door, sometimes it triggers the alarm...making your neighbors what to get their shotgun and shoot you. I haven't been able to figure out how to disable the alarm permanently. It's very annoying and this was lousy engineering on Acura/Honda. I usually have to go to the passenger side to unlock the door. I think there is a way to get around it but it does require quite a bit of work to door from one of those Acura forums.
