The contact owns a 2007 Acura MDX. The contact smelled oil burning in the vehicle. Upon inspecting the vehicle, he noticed that the vehicle was leaking oil from the pc valve onto the exhaust pipe. The dealer advised the contact that the vehicle could be repaired at his expense. The manufacturer confirmed the dealers statement and told the contact that the warranty was void since he tampered with the vehicle and removed parts from it. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 40,000 and the current mileage was 47,000.
