Acura's HandsFreeLink (HFL) Bluetooth module is a parasitic battery drain even when the car is shut off. As the original owner back in 2012, I've had to change the car battery every 2-3 years because of the issue and still continue to do so as of 2025. The first time it happened was two years after purchase, but the dealership replaced the battery under warranty. Three different dealers in three different cities were clueless about why the batteries had to be replaced so frequently. You could try to replace the HFL module, but there's no guarantee it will fix the issue permanently or even temporarily. The best solution is to disconnect the module (look on YouTube to see how) and go with an aftermarket BT adapter, but you'd lose ability to control phone calls and audio through the steering wheel and console buttons.
