Takata recall attempts to have the inflator replaced at two Audi dealerships have failed. I've received two recall letters stating the parts are available. I also attempted to reach audiusa at 800-253-2834 and after waiting a half hour my call was dropped. I'm seeking direction on how to get an Audi dealership to honor the recall. Thank you!

"takata recall" it has been over a year since we have been able to have a passenger in my wife's 2006 Audi A4 wagon due to this airbag recall. We cannot drive together in the front and this is now ridiculous as I cannot fathom why there is no fix yet and no parts. This is truly unacceptable. I want a repair done asap.

Takata recall the recall was started on May 27, 2016. But I have never received a notification letter from Audi with respect to the recall. When I find out the recall today by myself, it turns out that Audi is still not able to provide repair for my vehicle. Driving such a vehicle is very dangerous to the front passenger.
