2013 Audi A6
TSB Document:
Affected Component: STEERING
- Summary
- Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 48 number 13-35 dated February 14, 2013. The yellow steering symbol is illuminated in the instrument cluster. DTC C10ACF0 (steering end stops not programmed) is logged in the power steering control module, J500 (address word 44). The power steering control module expects to receive a VIN message over the data bus shortly after terminal 15 is turned on. If the VIN message is not received at the expected time, the power steering control module assumes it has been installed in a new vehicle, and it discards the programmed end position values.
