TSB Document:
Affected Component: BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS
- Summary
- When the driver is parking the vehicle, the continuous parking aid warning tone begins too soon. The continuous warning tone begins when the vehicle is approximately two feet away from an object, although it should not begin until the vehicle is one foot away from an object. Incorrect software parameters in the vehicle electrical system control module, J519 (address word 09), cause the condition. Only A6 S line and S6 vehicles with front and rear parking aid (PR 7X2) are affected.
