Q3 Premium Plus 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,665 miles

I purchased the vehicle in May 2018 In 10/2018, and while still under warranty it left me stranded. It started to shake as I was driving, due to a broken spring valve. Audi took the engine apart and repair the problem. All was well until 1/18/21, when I was on the freeway and the vehicle started to shake.

Turns out the timing chain jumped. Towed it to the Audi dealing where they would charge me $12,000 for a new engine. I called American Audi hoping and praying they could pay a portion and after a week waiting they responded with a NO.

I had the vehicle towed to a mechanic who replaced the engine for 9k. I didn't have the title to salvage it, not sure what else I could have done. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY AN AUDI!!!
