I believe my car is involved in the buy back. I have leather seats and airbag light illuminates intermittently when items are placed on seat. I have to smack the pass seat bottom then a few moments later the light goes off I would like info on my concern due to no replacement parts are available.
The contact owns a 2005 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 14V755000 (exterior lighting) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the repair. The contact's VIN was associated with the recall as of November 25, 2014. The contact stated that the recall remedy was not available. In addition, the contact reported that the front passenger seat sensor would not detect an occupant when the seat was occupied. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 141,405.
: the contact stated while adjusting the driver seat, it will not adjust enough for a smaller person. The vehicle was driven to the dealer who determined the seats performed as designed. Updated 12/5/2006 -
