The contact owns a 2006 Buick Lucerne. The contact stated that while driving at any speed, she heard a grinding noise coming from the steering column. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where the contact was informed that power steering fluid was leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired. An authorized dealer was then notified, and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recall associated with NHTSA campaign id number 06V105000 (steering:hydraulic power assist:hose, piping, and connections). The failure mileage was 56,209. Updated 07/29/11 the power steering hose was crimped. Updated 08/01/11
