The contact owns a 2006 Buick Terraza. When the contact attempted to stop the vehicle, the brake pedal failed. The contact had to release the brake pedal in order for the vehicle to stop. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the stability control was replaced; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
