This is the first of 2 times my infotainment screen spider-web cracked due to hot weather. This was fixed under warranty, but I have not fixed the second instance yet for fear it will happen a third time.

This is the second time this screen has had spider-web cracking that has left it inoperable. The first issue was fixed under warranty, but it has now happened a 2nd time. I fear replacing it and then having to fix it a third time.

The CUE screen controls most of the driver input solutions. One day I got in my car and the screen was cracked and nothing it controls worked. I bought a Cadillac because I was retiring and wanted to give myself a car of good repute. The rest of the car is a dream to own/drive and I absolutely have lowered my opinion of Cadillac in particular and General Motors in general. If the company knew these damn things were going to go kaput as soon as the warranty was gone, why in God's name did they put it in the car in the first place? I wish I knew how to join the class action - I'd be on their list.

Bought new 1/2015 with an extended warranty. Vehicle has extremely low mileage, always garaged, no reason for the screen to start spider webbing. The quoted part was $1,100 plus labor and tax. Extended warranty would not cover, they categorized it as glass. Apparently GM was aware this problem occurred in most of their 2014 to 2017 models but did not notify owners. Any one with a 2014 to 2017 Cadillac still under warranty should demand their Cue screen be replaced.

I parked at my local mall on a hot day and came back and a spider web crack developed on the touch screen of the Cadillac cue touch screen system. made an appointment with my local dealer, hopefully they cover it.
