program limited speed to 80 mph

I'm 59 years old and have been driving since 1972 and I have never come across a car problem so DANGEROUS in my life! Why would some IDIOT Engineer put a program that limits your car speed to 80MPH PERIOD? I was recently passing a vehicle on a 2 lane highway and the vehicle decided to speed up. So like I have done thousands of times over the past 40 years I sped up to get around him. Then my car suddenly stops at 80MPH while at the same time a truck is coming at me head on. I just about got KILLED because of Cadillac Engineers and I had to SLAM on my brakes and swerve back behind the car I was attempting to pass. It was the closest I have come to getting killed in 44 years of driving!!! And I'M FURIOUS WITH CADILLAC!!! Come to find out my struts were worn and these stupid height sensors prevented my car from going past 80MPH I took my car to a professional alignment center and they looked up the struts listed for my car and replaced them. The problem is the new struts THAT SAY THEY WILL WORK on my car did not have that stupid height sensor that causes citizens to possibly get killed if they pass a car and didn't know or forgot their speed was limited by these IDIOT Cadillac Engineers!!

I have driven dozens of cars over my life with worn out struts, shocks, ect and they never caused my car to jeopardize my life or created a situation where the car couldn't drive over 70MPH But these IDIOT Engineers at Cadillac just about caused me to get KILLED and I'm PISSED OFF beyond description!! Didn't they think that a situation like I just described could happen and cause a HEAD ON collision thereby KILLING PEOPLE!! How many people have been killed head on and the reason was wrote off as being driver error when it's possible that speed limit problem caused the accident? Who is going to report that is what caused it? THE DEAD GUY??

I don't care what it takes but this needs to be taken care of IMMEDIATELY before someone is killed!!!
