The state of Michigan has mandated that all limousines and limousine buses are required to have the rear door locking mechanism disabled and the door knobs removed; as well as the ability to electronically lock the doors while in motion or at rest! this mandate seems to be a state of Michigan requirement only. I am gravely concerned that this will give a customer / individual the ability to open the door while the vehicle is in motion which will result in serious injury or death! please contact me at [xxx] if I am wrong in this concern...[xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

I have a Cadillac Escalade 2007 AWD. It has 70,000 miles on it and the chrome plated interior door handles have peeled off exposing sharp edges. Both the passenger and the driver interior door handles have exposed sharp edges. Through normal use, the chrome has peeled. There has been no abuse to them. These sharp edges have cut my finger once and also passenger fingers on three occasions. The cut is worse than a paper cut. They average about 1.5 inches. Nothing has been done to correct the failure as I am out of bumper to bumper warranty.
