I bought a new 2009 Cadillac SRX 4WD V-8 in August 2009 from Williamson Cadillac in Miami. Recently I have experienced unintended acceleration from a standstill twice, one which on March 6th caused severe injury of a family member in my garage when the car suddenly lurched forward pinning him against shelves netting him a complex fracture in his right lower leg.

On May 18th, a few days ago as I was pulling out of a parking bay the car lurched backward and I could barely stop to prevent hitting another parked car behind me. As I tried to move forward it surged again jumping the curb, breaking sign post and a picnic set that was displayed on the sidewalk in front of a Publix Store. No injuries, but property damage. I hesitate to drive the car again once it has been repaired from the body damage.
