The Touch Screen on 2014 Cadillac SRX isn't quite working. Google shows that GM and Cadillac are aware of problem from the start but refuse to fix problem until there is a "recall" issued.

9/29/2017 The touch screen when selecting the radio buttons did not work. The screen would display but when touching the button to select it responded with nothing. So in calling my Cadillac dealer I was told only solution is to replace the CUE screen piece which is around $1200. My car at the time was at 59,520 mileage, so it was not covered under warranty. I scheduled and had the CUE screen replaced, and received some GM discounts. I am trying to get copy of the invoice to list the exact amount I paid out of pocket. So I had a new CUE screen installed and all was well.

2/12/2020 The climate controls stopped working, which is connected to the CUE screen. So I had to replace the CUE screen again, due to touch screen features not working to change the climate options. So this is the second CUE screen replaced. I did receive a GM discount, and am trying to get invoice copies to be able to list the exact amount.

Cadillac CUE System is a piece of junk. Guarantee the touch screen will malfunction and the dealer wiill Charge you approximately $1,200 to $1,300.00 to repair. Can purchase screen on line for $139.00 (I know I did so). So I guess the balance is dealer labor cost. A month after repair the heat/air controls quit working as well. And they have no connection to the screen. Now forced to replace the complete unit except Cadillac says the one to fit according to my vin number is not available.

Started in August 2018 where only certain things on touchscreen would work, then by December nothing worked-I couldn't adjust the heat locations and so I knew it was time to get it to the shop. They had to replace the touch screen, luckily I was covered by the certified extended warranty.

I had the Cue system checked out on my first visit to the dealer after purchase. They reported nothing wrong with Cue system. I had it checked out specifically because my friend with a Cadillac notified me of the Nationwide problems with the Cue system. Now it is locked up and will not respond to touch.

This is the 2nd problem with this 2.5 year old Cadillac in one week. I thought that this car would be higher quality and less things breaking. Was I wrong! Ready to go back and buy a Nissan which I had for over 6 years with no accessory problems!
