The contact then had an independent mechanic come to her home where they discovered that the failure was linked to the vehicle's ignition switch. The contact then had the vehicle towed to a dealer where she was informed that they would not be able to repair the vehicle until December. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 156,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the engine failed to start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who stated that the ignition switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 117,000.
