The contact attempted to turn off the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to shut off. The contact attempted to shift between reverse and drive; however, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that the vehicle finally shut off. The contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer; however, the vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

Additionally, the rotatory gear shift dial was unmovable, and the vehicle failed to turn off while depressing the Push to Start button. The contact stated that he was able to turn off the vehicle after 3-4 minutes. The contact stated that upon restarting the vehicle, the vehicle operated as needed. The contact stated that the failure occurred on four occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the power inverter module needed to be replaced; however, the part was not available. The vehicle was not repaired.
