The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Charger. While driving 50 mph, the contact felt heat coming from the driver's seat. Upon exiting the vehicle, the contact noticed a dime sized hole in the driver's seat and sparks appeared from the heating mechanism in the driver's seat. There were no injuries. The driver shut off the seat heater and drove to the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 80,500. Updated 07/27/16
