The dealer informed the contact that there was a waiting list for other vehicles to be serviced for the ABS module failure due to limited parts. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 118,585.

The contact stated that the failure was intermittent but had become a recurring failure. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the ABS module and the brake booster pump needed to be replaced. The contact was informed by the mechanic that the parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure.
