Saturday Aug 8th my vehicle cut off in traffic went to kieiffer Dodge could not get an answer after several calls finally was told they do not have recalled part in and can not order it all they can do is wait for them to seen part to them. Called recall assistance center 1-800-853-1403, was told the dealership was correct I could take it in to have dignostic ran to verify the recall is the reason it shut off in traffic and if so they could send them a part in 3 to 5 business days. What is a recall for if they are not going to send the parts when thay have a recall. Will they start sending the parts when enough people are killed from stalling in traffic.
Periodically car will not start. Turn the ignition key and would click. Would try several times. After waiting for sometimes an hour or more, car would start. Thought related to ignition recall. Finally had ignition replaced. Within next day, didn't start again. Took to Dodge dealer. They replaced ignition again. Still periodically not starting. Turn key and it will click but not start. After several trys, it will start. Also, airbag warning light came on. Took back to dealer. Dodge dealer had for a week. Finally said its a faulty tipm.
